We hiked this on this past Tuesday and it was part dirt and part hardpacked snow and used micro-spikes. However with snow in the forecast for this Friday through Sunday you will probably want snowshoes. Also with new snowfall in the forecast for this Saturday maybe no need to go to top as plenty nice photos before that last steep pitch.

Driving Directions: From Seattle drive I-90 east and exit 80 and turn left Bullfrog Road. Then go to WA 903 and turn left (north) and go past Roslyn. 903 become Salmon La Sac Rd. Drive another 7 miles and a small distance from the fire station which is on the right you can park on the left hand side of the road as there is a big pull out
Trail stats: 7.7 miles rountrip and 2600 foot gain. Note on our track that after you leave the Salmon La Sac Road you turn right, At first intersection turn right, on the way up we made a mistake stayed left and then hooked up with the main track.
