Weather Washington Cascades: Extended Outlook

Forecast models start to show changes in the weather patterns especially as we move into next week. We tend to have troughs of low pressure (see map below) that drop down from the Gulf of Alaska to bring chance of precipitation at times.  Thus the extended forecast starting this weekend through May 24 are indicating above normal precipitation with normal to below normal temperatures.
