The current mild pattern that we have in the Northwest will change this weekend with cooler air moving in and remaining here early next week. However most extended models through February 9 bring normal to above normal temperatures. However with weather systems continuing to move in from the Pacific we will have above normal precipitation through February 9. The map (for 2-5-2016) below reflects a flat ridge of high pressure over Washington with a trough of low pressure to our south so this should continue the wet pattern.
