The ridge of high pressure that has been anchored over region the last several days will briefly break down this weekend for some cooling and bring some precipitation. However the 10 to 15 day outlook is bringing a ridge of high pressure at times (see map below). Thus above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation will be the pattern through May 8.
