Weather Washington Cascades- Extended Outlook

Updated: 9-13-2017

Starting Monday 9-18 we have some changes as a trough of low pressure moves into the region for precipitation and colder weather. The US based Climate Predication Center keeps this trough of low pressure over  the West Coast through the end of the month. If that verifies  than we can expect below normal temperatures and wet conditions through the end of the month. However the European model suggests we will have ridge of high pressure moving in at times with dry and warm conditions at times. We will see who wins.

500 mb (18,000') for early next week a trough
