Fagin's Hike of the Week- Upper Palisades Lake

Updated August 10, 2017. This hike is at  Mt. Rainier National Park via Sunrise entrance. Wildflowers are in the prime so now is a great time to go. Good hike rain or shine and some rain in forecast for this Saturday and more likely Sunday.

Trail stats: 7 miles round trip (although a few GPS track at 8). High point 6150 feet and with the ups and downs there is a cumulative gain for the entire day of about 2000 feet. Here is track

Driving directions: Enter Mt. Rainier National Park via White River Campground entrance and drive up towards Sunrise and just before the Sunrise Visitor Center park at the Sunrise Point trailhead.
