The ridge of high pressure and dry and mild conditions that we have experienced in the Cascades will end Sunday 12-1. Cold air will filter in along with some mountain snow. The cold air will remain over the region (see map below). The extended forecast shows below normal temperatures. However after 12-1 models indicate below normal mountain snowfall.
