After this weekend's warming pattern forecast models start to struggle on the patterns. The US model (see map below) has a trough of low pressure that will try to push inland. The big question is will the ridge of high pressure to the east block the trough of moving into Washington? Time will tell. If the trough moves inland we can expect a cooling trend with chance of precipitation .
