Fagin's Hike of the Week: Jolly Mountain

Trail is in Salmon La Sac and hike is through an old burn area. Great views from the top, flowers are still out, and no snow.

Driving Directions: 
Drive I-90 east to exit 80, and exit, heading north on Bullfrog Road (crossing the freeway). 

Pass through two roundabouts, following signs for 903, and pass through the town of Roslyn and Ronald. 

Just past the turnoff for Forest Road 46, look for an unsigned, paved road to the right. This is FR 4315;  drive it 7.5 miles (from the main road) to a parking area high above the Salmon La Sac valley. Some cars can park a little lower.
