Fagin's Hike of the Week- Yellow Hill

Just hiked this area that was burned several years ago. It has opened things up and still flowers out and great views once you get to the ridge.

Plenty flowers!
Trail stats: We did not go to the top since I was recovering from a leg injury thus only did 2.3 miles one way and here is our track. To the top it is close to 3.7 miles one way Notice on the way up we took some steep shortcuts and on the way down took parts of the road.

Directions: I-90 exit 85 in Cle Elum and follow WA 970 and turn left on Teanaway Road and then go about 7 miles and turn left on West Fork Teanaway Rd. Go about 0.7 miles then turn right on Middle Fork Teanaway Road  and follow for 4.2 miles to the Middle Fork Teanaway bridge. Continue for 0.3 mile and turn right onto an unmarked road and then reach traihead in 80 yard. Trail is just passed Indian Campground.
