Fagin Ski of the Week- Amabilis / Cabin Creek

This a great ski also a good workout! About 15 miles east of Snoqualmie Pass at the Cabin Creek Sno Park. At the top there are great views of Mt. Rainier. These photos are from last year.

Trail stats: 9.5 miles roundtrip and 2100 foot gain. To start, walk over I-90 using the overpass, then start on Berg route for a short distance and follow signs up to Amabilis, to the right. This is FS 4822 and we took it to the top. There is a fork at 2 miles along this road and we kept to the left (although you can go right as well, this is a loop). Here is our  track. I


Driving Directions:
From Seattle take I-90 east to exit 63/Cabin Creek
Turn right and park in Sno Park. You will need a pass.

Cabin Creek System

About 10 miles east of Snoqualmie Pass, Cabin Creek  is a very popular cross country system with close to 10 miles of groomed trails.

Driving Directions: From Seattle take I-90 east to exit 63, Cabin Creek and turn right and park.

Trail Stats: Ski as much as you want or just a short loop or 2. You will need to purchase a pass to ski.
