Fagin's Hike of the Week- Davis Peak

Just did the hike on 11-21-2019 and you start to have snow at about 5200 feet. By the summit of Davis there is 4 to 6 inches of snow. We did not need micro-spikes. Best to do hike 11-22-2019  or 11-23-2019 since we should get plenty of new snow on Sunday 11-23.

Mt. Stuart from the top
Mt. Rainier hiding in the clouds, on the way up
View west toward Mt. Daniel
View of Stuart below the summit old fire from many years ago

Driving Directions:
From Seattle drive east on I-90 to take exit 80 (signed "Roslyn/Salmon la Sac")
Head north on Salmon la Sac Road (State Route 903) about 15 miles, passing through Roslyn and past Cle Elum Lake to Salmon la Sac.
Go right at the Y to stay on the main road (rather than entering the campground)
In 1.6 miles look for the Davis Peak trail head and turn left (you can also park here at Paris Creek Trail)
Drive about 0.5 miles to trail parking.

Trail stats:  If you drive to the trail head (last .5 mile) on a rocky road it is 9 miles round trip or if you park at Paris creek trail it is 10 miles. Here is the track  and I didn't do the summit
