Weather Washington Cascades- Extended Outlook

Forecast models are starting to show that the ridge of high pressure that has been in place over the Northwest will break down. So many of the extended models are showing a trough of low pressure starts to form off our coast. If this verifies we can expect below normal temperatures and above normal precipitation for the period of August 14 to August 20.

500 mb (18,000') average position for 8-14 to 8-200
