This hike in the Teanaway area, and many others below 6000' are snowfree. Much of the hike is in the forest, however once at the top there are flowers and great views of Mt. Rainier and Stuart.

Directions: From Seattle take I-90 east to exit 85 and north on State Route 970. Go to Teanaway Road, which then becomes North Fork Teanaway (9737) . Take 9737 4.7 miles and just past Beverly Campground parking area on your right. Trail is on your left.
