Weather Washington Cascades- Extended Outlook

Issued February 15, 2018
Forecast models have been consistent in bringing cold air down from the north for the next several weeks. The map below shows a trough of low pressure off our coast. This seems to be the pattern through early March. Thus below normal temperatures.  We will have some moderate precipitation for Friday (2-16) and Saturday (2-17) and after that we should be looking at normal to slightly below normal precipitation for late February and early March.

For February 26 500 mb (18,000')
