Weather Washington Cascades: Extended Outlook

Starting later this week we will start to have weather systems moving in and out of our region and often a zonal flow (from west to east). This pattern generally brings near normal temperatures and precipitation. Thus we should be able to maintain our current snowpack which is from 100 to 120% over much of Washington. Over the extended 10 to 15 day period we will  have a ridge that moves in at times (see map below.)
