Weather Washington Cascades- Extended Outlook

Issued 11-1-2016

Seattle just recorded the wettest October ever and many of the mountain locations also had much above normal precipitation. Forecast models starting to indicate that we get some ridging that builds, this Thursday and Friday, and some drier conditions. In fact models bring additional ridging at times through the middle of the month. If this pattern verifies we should have above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation for the first 15 days of November.

Upper level ridge at 18,000 on 11-11-2016
