Fagin's Hike of the Week- Beverly Creek Turnpike

Hike in the Teanaway where it is almost always sunny. There are always great views.

Driving Directions: From Cle Elum, travel east/northeast on Highway 970 for about 8.5 miles. Turn left on Teanaway Road and travel for 7.3 miles. Turn right (north) on North Fork Teanaway Road for 5.8 miles. At the end of the pavement, turn right onto FS Road 9737 and follow it for 3.7 miles to FS Road 9737-112 and go 1.5 miles to the trailhead.

Trail stats: Hike less than 1 mile on an old road and at junction with Bean Creek Trail go left on Beverly Creek Trail (#1391)  and cross the creek and continue on the trail close to 3 miles to Fourth Creek Pass junction. Turn right (east) and go about  0.50 mile for great views. Total gain about 2500 feet and 8.2 miles roundtrip.
