Weather Washington Cascades- Extended Outlook

Issued July 27, 2016

We will start to have some changes starting this weekend, July 30 and July 31 as a weak  trough of low pressure passes to our north to bring some cooling. In fact most forecast models bring troughs of low pressure in and out of the Pacific Northwest for the first week of August. With this pattern we can expect below normal temperatures during early August.

At 500 mb (18,000') trough of low pressure off Washing Coast
