Fagin's Hike (Ski-Snowshoe) of the week- Along White River

Issued: 2-4-2016

This is a snowshoe or ski (we skied) off of Hwy 410 just east of the town of Greenwater. This starts at low elevation, about 1900 feet so snow coverage is spotty first 1/8 to 1/4 mile but can ski after that. We also same snowshoe tracks. This is a mostly flat road with nice views of the West Fork  White River. It very-very slowly goes uphill.

Directions: Take Highway 410  from the town of Greenwater drive east about 4 miles (towards Crystal Mt.) and turn right on FS 74 - West Fork White River. Drive short distance and park by gate.

Trail Stats: Little elevation gain can go up to  6.5 miles one way in which you come to a bridge that is washed out.
