Weather Washington Cascades- Extended Outlook

Updated July 14, 2015

The extended forecast models out to July 28 are indicating that we will have a trough of low pressure off our coast over much of this period. Not that much this weekend but starting Monday July 20 we have that trough over the region. With this pattern temperatures will tend to be average to below and with above average precipitation. However, this time of the year above normal is somewhat misleading as we generally do not get much precipitation. As an example average precipitation for Seattle for the entire month of July is only 0.70 inches.
