Weather Washington Cascades: Extended Outlook

Issued 10-15-2014

Forecast models are indicating an active storm track into the Washington Cascades especially towards the end of the month. Above normal temperatures and above normal precipitation seem to be the rule (see map below). A trough of low pressure off the Washington Coast will bring a generally moist west flow.  Although we will have some dry periods over the extended. This Thursday (10-16) is looking dry in fact and perhaps even this Sunday.
