Washington Cascades Weather - Extended Outlook

Forecast models show the current ridge of high pressure to move out of our region over the weekend and starting then and through 10-21-2014 we will get some troughs of low pressure moving and in out of our region. Thus, temperatures should be near normal and precipitation above normal through 10-21-2014. On the map below note the trough of low pressure just off the Washington Coast ready to move into our region for precipitation. This will be the pattern ridge of high pressure (dry) followed by trough (wet).
