A trough will move across our region over the next several days. Then a ridge of high pressure rebuilds over the weekend and stays in place for much of the upcoming week (see map below). This ridge is forecast to stay in our region through August 10 and perhaps beyond. Thus below normal prec. and above normal temperatures will be the rule starting this weekend and through August 10 or so.
