KUOW Hike- PCT towards Kendall Katwalk

Updated 10-23-2012
With the new snow it will be hard to make it to the Katwalk but there some open views of the nearby peaks and forest. Also with the new snow good boots and trekking poles would be needed. Hike as far as you are comfortable in the snow. You might also want to bring some other foot gear for traction (see below). You can always just hike on the Commonwealth Basin trail which stays lower and has less snow.
