Washington Cascade Extended forecast

Update July 11, 2012
Extended forecasts to July 24, 2012 are indicating normal to above normal temperatures with normal rainfall. The map below, 500 mb (18,000 feet)would confirm this. This shows a weak trough far enough off our coast to bring minimal impacts in terms of cooling and rainfall. However if this shifts towards Washington a wet and cooler pattern would occur, again no signs of this happening at this point in time.
