Fagin's Hike of the Week: Fremont Lookout

Popular hike at Mt. Rainier which is snow-free (oh, just a tiny snow patch left). Always great views and in the distance one can see Glacier Peak, Mt. Baker, and Mt. Stuart. Thanks to Henryk Melcer for the photos.

 Driving directions:

From Enumclaw, drive east 43 miles on State Route 410 to the Mount Rainier National Park White River Entrance.
Veer right onto the Sunrise Road and follow it 17 miles west to the large parking lot and visitor center at the road's end.

Trail Stats: 5.6 miles roundtrip and 800 foot gain. Here is our track is on the way back we took a minor detour. Thus mileage 6.5
