Fagin Ski or Snowshoe of the Week- Kendall Lakes Road

This a good ski or snowshoe trip, but the lower portion can tend to be hard packed snow and ice. We did not go to the lake. One can just do the lower part of the road or continue on to viewpoint. Photos were taken another year in which we had better snow coverage.

Driving directions:
From Seattle take Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass to exit 54. Exit I-90
Turn left, and cross under the freeway to reach the Gold Creek Sno-Park.

Instead of the viewpoint one can use this route Trail: Here is our  track of 6+ miles roundtrip  which is considered safe from avalanches
