Driving Directions: Driving on US 2 from
Stevens Pass continue east for 17 miles to the Nason Creek Rest Area
and just past there, about a quarter mile beyond, turn left onto
unsigned and easy-to-miss Forest Road 6910 (there is a row of
mailboxes). Cross Nason Creek and stay on the main road and at about 4.5
miles from US 2 go right onto a narrow, rough road and in about .2
miles you have reached the trailhead which is about 4.7 miles from US
2. Note that within the first mile of FR 6910 there is big dip in the road that has been repaired. 4 wheel drive and good clearance is suggested. The rest of the road is in decent shape.
Trail stats: Go on trail number 1529 and go
1.6 miles to junction of Nason Ridge trail (#1583). Turn left (west) and
go 3.3 miles to junction on the right. Finally, go short .3 miles to
the top. 11 miles roundtrip and 3100 feet gain. Here is our
track
Disclaimer: There are many factors which you should consider in
deciding whether to proceed with an outing, including the visible
weather at the trailhead, the strength and experience of the party, snow
and avalanche conditions, route conditions, etc. You are the final
decision maker whether to proceed. West Coast Weather, LLC dba

arising from your decision to proceed, and expressly disclaims all
