Fagin's Hike of the Week- Navaho Pass

Just hiked on June 4, 2019 and no snow to the Pass with flowers just coming out. Patchy snow if you continue further and scramble to Navaho Pass.

Driving Directions:
From Seattle drive I-90 east to Cle Elum and exit 85.

Take Hwy 970 east and turn left on Teanaway Road.

Go about 7 miles then bear right and it becomes North Fork Teanaway.

Just past 29 Pine Campground take a slight right on FR 9737 and go one mile.

Turn right on FR 9703 and drive 2.5 miles to Stafford Creek trail head.


Trail stats: 11 miles round trip and 3000' gain. Going to the peak is about another 1.2 miles and 1200'  gain. Here is our track to the pass and slightly beyond.
