The Washington Cascades will have some cooling this Friday and into the weekend as a trough of low pressure moves inland late Friday . The cooling will be short lived as a ridge of high pressure rebuilds on Sunday and remains in place for much of the upcoming week (see map below). So the extended forecast for this Sunday through August 18 and probably beyond is above normal temperatures with little to no precipitation.
