Fagin's Hike of the Week- Chirico Trail aka Poo Poo Point

This is a good close-in hike, just several miles south of Issaquah.  Rumor has it that "poo poo” was the sound made by loggers' steam whistles. The photos are from last year. According to several trip reports, there is ice on the last 1/2 mile or so, thus micro-spikes would be very handy.

Directions to Trail:
I-90 to Issaquah, take Front Street exit.
Follow Front Street through town for about 3 miles.
Front street becomes Hobart-Issaquah Road.
If you are driving south the trail head is on the left (east side of the street) near a big grass field.

Trail stats: About 4 miles round trip with about 1600 foot gain. Here is the track
