Weather Washington Cascades- Extended Outlook

All models keep the warm and dry conditions through at least August 10. As you can see from the map below we have a big ridge of high pressure over the West Coast and a trough of low pressure well to our west . We also have a trough of low pressure over the Midwest. The main impact of this is to keep the ridge in place over the West Coast. Some models suggest some changes by August 15 but that is too far off in the forecast horizon to have a lot confidence at this point.
