Great views of Mt. Rainier from the sunrise entrance of the Park and peak wildflowers!! Go soon before they fade. Although there will be some haze seeing these wildflowers will be well worth it and you see them before the summit of Skyscraper. Driving Directions: From Enumclaw, drive east 43 miles on State Route 410 to the Mount Rainier National Park White River Entrance. Veer right onto the Sunrise Road and follow it 17 miles west to the large parking lot and visitor center at the road's end, Sunrise.

Hikes that less impacted by the haze
The hikes on ridge tops that usually have views will tend to be hazy in many areas. Thus dropping down into valleys, and lake basins will be better. Here are a few.
