This is the same trailhead as Mt. Dickerman.. This hike is mainly in the forest until you get close to the Mt. Forgotten Meadow. Stunning views of Mt. Forgotten and Glacier Peak from the meadow. We got lucky and saw a bear. I think it was within 70'. That was close enough.

Driving Directions: From Granite Falls follow the Mountain Loop Highway east for 27 miles to the trailhead, 1.8 miles beyond (east of) the Big Four Picnic Area.
