A fun and new way way to hike Tiger. Start at Preston Way and do a loop. We got to the base of Tiger 1 but did not go to the summit (by hikers hut) since views seemed marginal that day.

Driving Directions: From Seattle, drive east on I-90 to exit 22 . At the end of the off ramp turn right onto SE 82nd and go short distance and turn right onto SE Preston Way. Then go less than 1/4 mile and park on side of the road need DOT maintiance building
Trail stats: 2500 foot gain and 8.7 miles roundtrip . Trail head is at this sign below. Hike along powerline for about .60 miles. Then go on bootleg trail several miles to junction of West Tiger 1 trail. Then turn right and went down (if you turn left that takes you to the top to Tiger 1) Follow this down to Dwight's' way then back to Preston Way trail and back to car
