Heybrook Lookout and Bridal Veil Falls are off Hwy 2. west of Stevens Pass. I hiked last fall and my pictures reflect that. However I did check recent trip reports of hikes and folks found hardpack snow and use of micro-spikes on last part of Heybrook hike and needed them for entire hike to the falls. Both trails are off Highway 2 and west of Stevens Pass

Driving Directions: From Everett follow US 2 east for 37 miles (approximately 2 miles east of the steel bridge crossing the Skykomish River) to the trailhead (elev. 850 ft), located on the north side of the highway.
Trail stats: 2.6 miles roundtrip 850 feet gain

Driving directions. From Heybrook lookout go on Highway 2 and go about 2 miles west and turn left on Mount Index Road and go about 0.40 miles to trail.
Trail stats: 4.4 miles roundtrip about 1000 foot gain
