Weather Washington Cascades- Extended Outlook

For the period today through November 21 our temperatures will tend to be above normal for much of the period. Precipitation will be at or below normal. We will tend to have alternating patterns of a ridge of high pressure (dry pattern) followed by troughs (wet pattern) of low pressure. By the middle of the month (see map below) we will have a zonal pattern (winds from west to east) and this tends to bring above normal temperatures.
