Weather Washington Cascades- Extended Outlook

Issued 9-13-2016
Most forecast models indicating the continued dry pattern with above normal temperatures and ridge of high pressure over our region through this Friday. Then chance of some precipitation over the weekend as a  system moves in. Although the models differ on the amounts. Then the ridge rebuilds on Monday 9-19 for dry and warm conditions returning of the upcoming week.
However some models suggesting some changes as the ridge of high pressure starts to flatten later next week (9-23 see map below) and if this pattern verifies we can expect some cooling and chance of some showers as a trough of low pressure moves in from the west to northwest.
