Weather Washington Cascades: Extended Outlook

Issued: 3-16-2016

In the short term forecast models bring a dry and mild pattern for the period Thursday 3-17 through Sunday 3-20.  However we start to get some changes starting Monday 3-21 as upper level forecast maps show a trough of low pressure off our coast and a zonal flow (from west to east.) This type of pattern brings above normal temperatures and precipitation and this should be the case through 3.26.
