Starting this Sunday 2-7 and continuing until at least 2-11 a strong ridge of high pressure builds 500 mb
This upper level ridge will tend to bring above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation. In fact some of that part of this period will be dry. Then models suggest that this ridge collapses after that 2-13 to bring normal precipitation to our region.
