Extended forecast models for the period starting August 30 through September 5 have been indicating a shift in the weather patterns. The forecasts indicate a trough of low pressure off our coast at times and if that verifies we can expect above normal precipitation and below normal temperatures. However these extended forecasts have not done well recently.
