Extended forecast models out to September 9 show below normal precipitation and this is attributed to a ridge of high pressure that continues to builds along the west coast. We will have some troughs of low pressure that move in especially this coming weekend and this will bring the chance of precipitation. But after that we have a ridge of high pressure that rebuilds for a mostly dry pattern.
