Extended forecasts for the period through 6-10-2014 suggest above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation for the Washington Cascades. This is due in part to a ridge of high pressure over the West Coast at times. However, some models suggest that this ridge retrogrades (moves to the west) towards June 8 and if this happens seems like we can get cooler air in place. In any event very low confidence in this forecast.
