Some of the forecast models suggest above normal temperatures and below normal precipitation through May 16. However, I have lower confidence in that forecast. Looking at the European forecast model (see below) indicates a trough of low pressure to our east and this tends to drag cooler air into the region. This map is valid for may 16.
