At Mountain Loop Highway area this hike will give you a great workout and 360 degree views. Fall colors should be turning soon at the top. Best days for views this week would be Wednesday (9-18) and Thursday (9-19).

Video above shows part of the 360 degree views from the top. This shot is from the west to north to east then to south. We first see 3 Fingers Lookout, then Mt Baker, North Cascades glaciers, Glacier Peak and more.
Driving Directions: From Granite Falls follow the Mountain Loop Highway east for 27 miles to the trailhead, 1.8 miles beyond (east of) the Big Four Picnic Area.
Trail stats: 10 miles round trip 3750 feet gain.
