Forecast models continue the pattern of areas of low pressure moving into the region like we will have today through early Friday 2-8. Then a ridge of high pressure builds over the weekend for a drying trend mainly on Sunday 2-10. The map below shows a ridge of high pressure which tends to bring below normal mountain snowfall. This is the average position of the high through 2-19-2013.
