Washington Cascades Weather

Update 2-13-2013
We continue to have weak weather systems moving in and out of the region which is then followed by a ridge of high pressure. This should be the pattern towards the end of February. Thus below normal mountain snowfall and temperates normal to slightly below normal should be the rule. The map below is the average position of at 500 mb level and shows a ridge just off the West Coast. This indeed confirms the above outlook.
500 mb map @ 18,000 feet through 2-26-2013. Notice the ridge just off the West Coast
