Weather extended outlook- Wash. Cascades

Updated 12-5-2012

Forecast models seem to making a shift to cooler conditions for the Washington Cascades with snow levels averaging close to 3000 for the week of 12-9-2012. So below normal temperatures with average to above snowfall. The map below is the 500 mb chart (18,000 feet) and shows a cool and sometimes moist northwest flow. Thus above normal snowfall with this pattern through 12-18-2012.
