KUOW Hike of the Week- Grand Ridge

Updated 11-12-2012
This is a hike just east of downtown Issaquah and you can enjoy the lush forest. Easy to access and easy hiking. Great rain or shine and no snow on trail. Some rain on Tuesday 11-12 and some shine for later on Wednesday 11-13 and Thursday 11-14.
Thanks for the photos Maria Lamarca Anderson

Driving directions: From Seattle, drive east on I-90 and take Exit 20, turn left at bottom of ramp. Pass underneath I-90 and park in the gravel lot to the west.

Trail stats: From the parking lot hike on the paved road west for about 1/4 mile or so and the dirt trail will be to your right. You can go as short or as long as you want and minimal elevation gain up to 1000 feet. Trail length is 9.5 miles one way but you can stop at anytime. Please note once on trail just keep to the right and that keeps you on Grand Ridge Trail.

Check out Map of Grand Ridge Click here for complete list of trails and information on area.

Always bring map-compass-GPS as directions are best estimate.
